Hooboy.

Ohhh boy is there a LOT to catch up on!

Let's begin where we left off, to the best of my memory...
The end of July brings me deciding to leave TF.... It was highly emotional for me. I gave my notice for the 21st of August. August 1st was the start of the ICL Leadership camp at the school. I was supposed to just help out here and there around my TF schedule... two days in, it becomes apparent that I am doing SO much more for the camp, and that I am a valuable addition to the team. Sooo, I get told that if I leave TF sooner, I get double the pay. I debate over this, call my mom about it, so much thinking went into this. TF is like a second family to me... but I decided it was in my best interests to leave, I needed tuition money. The next three weeks whizzed by, and they are three weeks I hope to never forget. I met people from London, New York, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. I miss them all so dearly. Some of them are still here for school, but I rather miss the others.

And, true to form, my relationship went to shit. We don't even speak now. Not after called me a fucked up slut. Yeah, real nice guy, eh? Part of me thinks it's because he started talking to my exbestfriend again. Oh well, they're suited to each other. If he can't get over a 2 and a half month relationship emotionally, but has no problem finding someone else to fuck the same week of the breakup, then he can get lost. Seriously.

Ironically enough, I found someone else the same week, after I had all but sworn off guys for life. I wasn't really expecting to find anyone, but sure enough, it happened. He seems unlike any other. Patient, understanding. And our first conversation was centered around music. I'm being super cautious with this one. I want this to work more than anything else. More than I have ever wanted any of my relationships to work, really. It sucks because he lives so far away, but at the same time... it is great for me. I get to know him before anything else. And that is how it should be.... I have a really good feeling about this one.

I started going to church again. I enjoy it, minus the part where I have no one my age to really talk to. Otherwise, it's great.

I get along with my family so much better now that I'm gone from home.

Gah... there is so much to tell, but not enough time right now....
Until then...

I actually have exciting news to report, seeing as it's been three whole months since I last posted.
I got a 95% mark in my course, aka A+ :)
I applied to the program, and I start in September!
I still work at TF, but I got a new job at a private school not far from where I live. But I get to live on campus, so I moved out, finally. It's amazing here. Right on the lake. Food isn't too bad. I feel like I'm just at summer camp right now.

Is it weird to think that what may have started as a rebound in the beginning has become the best thing to ever happen to you? Of course, it didn't develop right away. It was a mixture of time, friendship, and loss. Not to mention, dating other people. But then finally, things lined up. You were like best friends... and then one day, you both realized, you're perfect for each other. Neither of you mentioned it at first. But it was clear to almost anyone who saw you two together. Then a fateful conversation late one night changed everything. You left the one you were dating, and there was no complications after that. You were together, and hadn't felt this way in a very, very long time. It's funny how life works, really. You realize this is where you were meant to be, where your life journey was trying to get you to. Andy, I love you.

don't let it go to your head

So I think I shall stay here for the summer. There's just too much work to move for 3 months. It's not really worth it. If I stay disciplined enough, I can easily earn my tuition. It's not even that much when you really think about it. I need to find the motivation to just finish my course already. 4 weeks worth of work... Damnit Danielle, get your butt in gear!

And in the end, I wanna thank you....

...Because you made me that much stronger.

unfortunately, Christina Aguilera, it's not the end yet.

These days, life sucks... Why? Because my 'best friend' ended our friendship because I called her boyfriend a fruitcake. Really? Are you *bleeping* serious? A 4 month relationship over 17 years of friendship, over being called a christmas cake? Are you out of your MIND? I am led to believe that yes, infact, you are out of your mind. Who in their right mind not only takes that "insult" seriously, but ends a friendship over it?... I can't handle my emotions right now. One minute I want to call you up and yell at you, the next I'm crying in a pile on my bed. Thanks for ruining so many things for me. Oh, and for also NOT telling me why you're not friends with me, because honestly, there's gotta be SOMETHING else, unless you really are that big of a bitch.

Something to do.

A new beginning.
Today, I turned 20. For me, this is a big deal because I have officially left my teen years.

I've never been much of a blogger. And I definitely don't have the wit to be a vlogger, so you'll have to bear with me. I may leave you for months at a time, but then again, if I had followers, it would be more motivation to keep writing. Or so I hope.

So far, my day has been shitty, minus the like 2 hours I got to spend with Sierra. I barely slept last night and I didn't get that kitten I've been asking my parents for since I was 15. Very tragic, I even checked the garage for a kitten. You'd think I'd stop being disappointed by now. I am finding it very hard to find the motivation to go to class tonight, what are the chances... I have class once a week, and of course it falls on my birthday. Ironically enough, we are doing chapter 20. And it is true what they say, the older you get, the more boring your birthday presents get. This year, I got a tent. Yeah, it's useful and stuff, but not very... exciting. And I also don't know if I'll even get to use it this year, as I have no idea where I'll even be for the summer. I've been thinking about going to Alberta to work for my tuition. Who knows where life is going to take me. I have no idea, certainly. I can't plan more than 2 months ahead right now. Speaking of two months ahead, exactly two months and my sister is getting married. HOW WEIRD IS THAT?! So hard to get used to that idea, and it's been over a year. My goodness, how time flies. Wow, I am a very boring person, I need to do something with my life. And then blog about it. Hahaha. That'll be a treat. If there's anyone out there, what do you think my personal challenge should be?

Current song on repeat: Costa Rica - Vince Vaccaro, the acoustic version, of course.
